Use of social media is growing daily and the tools change from year to year.  It’s not enough to learn the how-to’s you need to understand the strategy behind the tools for your plan to be effective.

This workshop will cover:

  • The tools (Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Open Table)
  • Where to find your customers (only fish where they are biting)
  • Listen, listen, listen then engage
  • What makes a good social media plan?
  • How to use your time most effectively (avoid the time suck)
  • Who’s doing it right and why

You will walk away with:

  • Social media tools/accounts set up and ready to use effectively
  • Skills to use those tools effectively
  • A plan crafted just for you and your business based on your resources available
  • A way to measure your Return on Investment crafted just for you
  • A list of creative ideas to implement immediately
  • A network of peers to learn from and share ideas

10:00 am – noon  Computer Lab – Hands on Learning

noon – 1:00  Peer to Peer Roundtable lunch

1:00 – 1:30  Open Table – Are you using the tools available to save you time in your social media plan?

1:30 - 2:00 Foursquare - How to use Foursquare to drive traffic and increase sales.

2:00 – 3:30  Panel Discussion – Featuring three representatives from local area restaurants/chocolatier who are getting the most out of social media and how they do it.

3:30 – 4:00  Roundtable Implementation Discussion

 

Fee:

$235 for full day if registered by July 23rd ($50 savings!)
